*Remaking traditional garments into modern forms.
These works are made from worn out Japanese silk kimonos, cut into small pieces and then sewn together with a machine.
*Golden cocoon
The material of these works are the cocoons of wild silkworms from South East Asia. One by one I flattened them and sewed them together with a sewing machine.
This golden color is the natural one, with no paint on it.
